Payments

Requirements for payment vary with the brand of craft. Stellar orders require a non refundable deposit of $500 at the time of order with the balance required prior to delivery. All equipment remains the property of Paddle 'n' Ski until payment is received in full.

Payments can be made in cash, direct bank deposit or EFT.

Demos

Craft and equipment is available for demonstration purposes. All demos are at the discretion of Paddle 'n' Ski and subject to consideration of the prevailing weather and paddler ability. Any damage incurred to equipment owned by Paddle 'n' Ski while being loaned for the purposes of demonstration will be the reponsibility of the paddler. Paddle 'n' Ski will not be held responsible for any damage or injury incurred by the paddler.

Stellar Warranty Information

Stellar Kayaks & Skis warrants all skis and kayaks to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from date of purchase.

 

If a product is found to have a manufacturing fault, Stellar will organize for repair, replacement or a refund at the discretion of the manufacturer. Stellar Australia, reserves the right to determine if a ski or kayaks will be covered under warranty. Stellar Australia will discuss each Warranty Application with both the US research & development team, and the Factory Quality Assurance team prior to making any final decision.

 

This Warranty does not apply to demo, sale or used skis and kayaks in which case a Warranty period will be determined by Stellar for each boat, at the time of sale.

 

Original Proof of Purchase is required prior to any Warranty claim being considered.

 

The manufacturer’s Warranty does not cover:-

• accidents which cause cracking and creasing. Ocean skis should not be taken out in breaking surf as they are not designed to withstand the impact of surf,

• skis or kayaks used in any commercial operations,

• abrasion, abnormal use, wear and tear or damage caused by misuse,

• damage caused by the improper securing of the ski/kayak on a vehicle, by either location or method of securing,

• damage due to exposure to excessive heat.

 

Stellar is not liable for any injury sustained in the use of a ski or kayak. The user of the ski/kayak acknowledges assumed risks and waives any and all claims against Stellar Kayaks and Skis Pty Ltd, and any of its Dealers or Agents.

 

Stellar highly recommends that prior to paddling a ski or kayak, paddlers read the guidelines on the ‘Paddle Safe Paddle Smart’ website (www.paddlesmart.org) and undertake paddling lessons from a reputable and qualified paddling instructor. The majority of Stellar Dealers/Agents offer paddling tuition, or they can refer you to an appropriately qualified instructor.
